The Scottish Executive Environment and Rural Affairs Department (SEERAD) conducts a census on deer farmed in Scotland.

It covers details of the number of deer at the reference date, the numbers of deer sold and the number sent for slaughter in the previous year.

The census covers Scotland and is carried out every two years.
