Scottish Executive Environment and Rural Affairs Department conduct a survey on ex-farm milk prices.

It is a sample of 17 processing plants/co-operatives and covers details on the total volume of milk bought, milk prices and bonuses.

The survey covers Scotland and is carried out monthly.

The results are produced annually and are used in the calculation of Scottish Agriculture Output, Input and Income Statistics.
