Scottish Executive Environment and Rural Affairs Department conducts a survey on store market throughputs and prices for cattle, sheep and pigs, hay and straw.

The survey consists of a sample of nine markets/auctioneers.

Data are available by various categories of store livestock, reporting numbers sold and the value from each category, from which average prices can be calculated.
