		Local area migration indicators Product   These indicators have been developed to provide further information on migration for local areas. Many data sources contain information that might be related to migration, such as nationality or country of birth. This information does not provide an estimate of the number of migrants living in a particular area, but can be viewed as an indication of the characteristics of a population within that area. For example, we might expect that areas with high numbers of international immigrants will have high proportions of its population born outside the UK.
