Internet Connectivity

The latest national statistics on internet connectivity produced by the Office for National Statistics were released on 20 February 2009 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority. Latest release

The key points from the latest release are:

• The seasonally adjusted volume of retail sales in the three month period November to January was 1.5 per cent higher than the previous three months



• The latest three months on previous three months volume seasonally adjusted sales rose by 0.6 per cent for predominantly food stores



• In predominantly non-food stores sales rose by 1.2 per cent. Sales in the non-store retailing and repair sector rose by 8.3 per cent
