Financial Statistics

The latest national statistics providing key financial and monetary data for the UK, produced by the Office for National Statistics, were released on 11 November 2008 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority. Latest release

The key points from the latest release are:

'Financial Statistics' is a monthly publication. It will be available in hardcopy from 20 November. The hardcopy is available to buy here.

The publication is divided into two parts:

Part one consists mainly of freestanding data based on the latest available monthly data sources

Part two contains a consistent set of financial and other sectoral accounts that are updated once a quarter.
