Provides information on turnover of various Distribution and Service industries at the three digit level of UK Standard Industrial Classification.
The frequency of this release changed from quarterly to monthly from July 2006 when it ceased to be a First Release.
In January 2007, the sample size of the MIDSS survey was reduced by 15 per cent. This reduction was introduced as part of a reallocation of the sample, designed to maintain the quality of the aggregates shown in this release. As already noted, the sample reduction has no effect on the quality of the statistics in this release.
From May 2009, the three digit industry figures for 55.1 to 55.5 are Turnover exclusive of VAT, consistent with the other industries in these tables which have always been published "exclusive of ... View more information about this product.
