Health and Care

Social Survey Division (SSD) of the Office for National Statistics carries out a number of surveys which provide information on health and care. Questions on health are also included in many surveys covering other topics but some of the surveys which are currently underway or have recently been completed that focus particularly on health are:

• Adult Dental Health Survey
• Dental Health Survey of Children and Young People
• Drug Treatment Survey (National Treatment Outcome Research Study)
• Health Survey for England
• National Diet & Nutrition Survey - adults aged 19 to 64 years
• National Diet & Nutrition Survey - children aged 4 to 18 years
• Survey of Health & Well-Being of Adults
• Survey of Homeless People in Glasgow
• Survey of Psychiatric Morbidity Among Prisoners in England and Wales
• Survey of smoking, drinking and drug use among secondary school children
• Survey of the Development and Well-being of Children and Adolescents
• Survey of the Development and Well-being of Children and Adolescents - Three year follow-up
• Survey of the Needs and Lifestyles of Visually Impaired Adults
• The National Survey of NHS Patients
