Economy

The Social Survey Division (SSD) of the ONS does not carry out any surveys that focus exclusively on the theme of economy. However surveys on other themes may collect information relevant to this topic eg the Family Expenditure Survey in the Social and Welfare theme, as may general surveys in the Compendia and Reference theme.

Surveys listed under other themes may also be used in producing key economic statistics, e.g the Labour Force Survey in the Labour Market theme. Details of a whole range of surveys carried out for government departments in the past can also be found under Sources in Statbase®.

Information on more sources of data related to the economy theme is available here
