Commerce, energy and industry

The Social Survey Division (SSD) of the ONS does not carry out any surveys that focus exclusively on the theme of commerce and industry. However surveys on other themes may collect information relevant to this topic e.g. the Family Expenditure Survey in the Social and Welfare theme and the Labour Force Survey in the Labour Market theme, as may general surveys in the Compendia and Reference theme.

Other sections within ONS also conduct surveys on this theme. Details of a these and a whole range of surveys carried out for government departments in the past can be found under Sources in Statbase®.
