The Personal Inflation Calculator is in the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) graphic format. Unlike other interactive formats, SVG is recommended as an open 'Web standard' by the World Wide Web Consortium. The calculator has been designed to work with a variety of SVG-compliant software.
Viewing the Personal Inflation Calculator
Users of Mozilla Firefox (version 1.5 and above)and Opera (version 9 and above) web browsers will be able to view the calculator without installing any special software. A portable version of Firefox, which does not require users to install the browser on their operating systems, is also available.
Users of Microsoft Internet Explorer and other browsers will need to download and install the free SVG Viewer, available for Windows, Mac and other operating systems (users of Windows NT, 2000 or XP may require the assistance of their systems administrators to install the Adobe SVG Viewer software).
