National Statistics Work Programme 2002/03 to 2004/05

The second high level work programme for National Statistics is now available in both electronic and hardcopy formats. In accordance with the commitment made in the Framework for National Statistics, this work programme provides 'a coherent, up-to-date, high level programme for National Statistics that reflects the needs of users and which brings together the key elements of statistical work programmes across Government'. The programme includes an outline of the strategic direction for National Statistics; a description of some of the major cross-cutting developments such as Neighbourhood Statistics; and individual chapters covering proposed developments within each of the 12 National Statistics themes.
