A core set of items is being discussed at the November/December round of Advisory Group meetings. These include draft Terms of Reference, an update on Topics consultation, plans for the 2007 Test in England and Wales and the 2006 Test in Scotland, Output aims and principles, Output Geography and Local Authority Liaison. During this round, the Advisory Groups are being asked to give their views on the following papers.
Advisory Group members liaise with their user communities, and comments on papers may be channelled through them (contact details). If you are not within the communities covered by the Groups, further information can be obtained from the Advisory Group secretariat.
In addition there are some papers which are specific to particular groups, for example a paper entitled 'How to take forward Community Liaison' was discussed at the meeting of the Special Populations Advisory Group on 23 November. The CLIP Census sub-group have a more detailed LA liaison paper 'Strategy for Development of Local Authority Partnerships for 2011 Census Enumeration'. Each group is also discussing its own particular Terms of Reference.
Once the round of meetings is complete a summary of issues and topics covered at the meetings will be available on the website.
