ONS have been informed about two separate data errors affecting figures supplied for Scotland in Regional Trends 37, published on 24 October 2002. Figures supplied for Scotland in table 7.18: NHS Hospital and Community Health Service Staff included general practitioners in the medical and dental numerator and in the total staff denominator. Population figures for 2001 in table 16.1: Area and Population by Local Authority contained unit level data for Scottish areas instead of figures rounded to thousands.
