When originally published on the 6 November 2009, six of the series in the Producer Prices data were found to contain errors. These errors occurred during the rebasing process into onto 2005=100.
The following series were affected:
PLKX: Materials and fuel purchased by manufacturing industry: Materials
PVNN: Imported materials - total (Inc Crude Oil)
RBBW: Manufacture of chemical products and man-made fibres (MM22 table 1)
RBBV: Manufacture of coke, refined petroleum products and nuclear fuels
(MM22 table 1)
RAUW: Manufacture of coke, refined petroleum products and nuclear fuels
(MM22 table 3)
RAVA: Manufacture of fertilisers and nitrogen compounds (MM22 table 3)
Corrected indices for PLKX, PVNN, RBBW and RBBV can be viewed by going to the 'Download entire releases' link on the Time Series Data homepage and downloading 'PPI First Release 2005=100' from the table. Indices for RAUW and RAVA will be updated on the 11 December 2009 with the next release of the Producer Prices Index data.
