The National Statistics Quality Review Programme has been introduced to help ensure that National Statistics and other official statistical outputs are fit for purpose and that there is a process to support the continuing improvement in the quality and value of these outputs. Review of Regional Accounts - Project Initiation Document (PID)
The main aims of this review are to:
- identify the main users and uses of the
Regional Accounts;
- establish user requirements with regard
to the relevance, accuracy, timeliness, punctuality,
accessibility, clarity, comparability, coherence and completeness
of the outputs;
- assess how well the Regional Accounts are
meeting the above quality requirements;
- identify areas that need improvement and
assess which should take highest priority;
- make recommendations for future work on the Regional Accounts, and if appropriate, options for how to better meet user requirements.
