| Title of paper | A Computer Program for Investment Appraisal in Power Sector |
| Abstract | With the use of Visual Basic Language, a small program has been designed, for getting cash flow analysis in context of power project appraisal and, to have one more module for Risk Master developed by Harvard Institute for International Development, a Microsoft Excel add-in-program that uses Monte Carlo Simulation techniques to apply risk analysis. The module developed is basically based on creating windows for data input user's friendly prompts. The module has linkages with several sub modules for preparing complete cash flow analysis of a project investment plan based on as many input parameters as one can have and also the life cycle of the project. |
