Key Stage 2 Attainment of Pupils in Science in England:
This statistical release provides national figures on attainment in science of eligible pupils (typically 11 year olds) at the end of Key Stage 2 (KS2) based on science sampling tests.
Level 2 and 3 attainment by young people in England
The SFR includes statistics on the attainment of young people aged 19, showing the proportion of young people qualified to at least levels 2 and 3 by age and by cohort.
Local Authority Measures for National Indicators Supported by the Tellus Survey
Five National Indicators are derived from the Tellus5 survey. The release shows local authority performance on: emotional health and well-being, experiences of bullying, positive participation, substance misuse, satisfaction with play areas.
Local Authority Measures for National Indicators supported by the Tellus4 Survey
Five National Indicators (NIs) are derived from data produced by the Tellus4 Survey. Statistics produced from the data are used to measure the following performance indicators: NI 50: Emotional health and well-being - children and young people user perception, NI 69: Percentage of children who have experienced bullying, NI 110: More participation in positive activities, NI 115: Reduce the proportion of young people frequently using illicit drugs, alcohol or volatile substances, NI 199: Satisfaction with parks and play areas.

This SFR provides details on how local authorities spent their funding on their education, children and young people's services and social care responsibilities. It also includes the latest statistics on school balances. The data is collected from schools and local authorities as part of the Section 251 Outturn collection.

NI 103: Special Educational Needs – statements issued within 26 weeks
This is a publication that presents national and LA level figures from the previous academic year for National Indicator 103. This indicator has two separate elements;
A) The percentage of final statements of special educational needs issued within 26 weeks excluding exception cases as a proportion of all such statements issued in the year.
B) The percentage of final statements of special educational needs issued within 26 weeks as a proportion of all such statements issued in the year.
This publication will show the total number of Sure Start Children's Centres designated as a percentage of the total number of centres required to reach all under 5s in a local authority area.
NI 54: Parental experiences of services provided to disabled children
This publication sets out the main findings from the national sample survey of parents of disabled children in England. This is conducted between July and November each year on the Department's behalf by the British Market Research Bureau (BMRB).
The primary purpose of the survey is to measure parental experience of services for disabled children and provide a score for the national performance indicator 5 for the Public Service Agreement on Child Health and Wellbeing (PSA 12). The secondary purpose of the survey is to provide figures for the large majority of local authorities and Primary Care Trusts (PCTs).
