Child Death Reviews Completed In England
The number of child deaths which have been reviewed by Child Death Overview Panels (CDOPs) in the year ending 31 March, including the number which were assessed as having modifiable factors.
Childcare and Early Years Providers Survey:
The survey collects robust information on the key characteristics of childcare and early years provision and the early years workforce across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
Childcare and Early Years Survey of Parents:
This survey aims to provide up-to-date and accurate information on parents’ childcare arrangements and their views of particular childcare providers and childcare provision in general. It continues the time series that started in the late 1990s and has been used to monitor the progress of policies in the areas of childcare and early years education.
The report describes in detail what childcare is used by different types of families, changes in take-up over the years, parents’ reasons for using or not using childcare and for choosing particular providers, and parents’ views on the providers they used and on childcare provision in their local area in general.
Children Accommodated in Secure Children's Homes, England and Wales
This report covers information on places approved and children accommodated by sex, age, length of stay and type of placement.
Children In Need in England:
This release contains figures on the numbers of children referred and assessed by children's social services. It includes information on the characteristics of children in need and information on children who were the subject of a child protection plan. Figures are taken from the Children in Need census.
Children Looked After by Local Authorities in England
Provides information about children looked after by local authorities in England. The figures are based on returns collected from all 150 English local authorities.
Children Missing from Home or Care - LA self evaluation
The release provides data on the self-evaluation scores given by each local authority in relation to available measures to monitor and respond to cases of Children Missing from Home or Care.
Children with Special Educational Needs: an analysis
Characteristics and attainment data on pupils with special educational needs (SEN) as well as school absence and exclusion rates for this group of children. Published in response to the SEN Information Act (2008).
Destinations of Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 pupils
Education destination measures will show the percentage of students progressing to further learning in a school, further education or 6th form college, apprenticeship or higher education institution a year after they have left school or college.
Diploma Learning, England:
This release will report on the study and awarding of 14-19 diplomas; participation and achievement will be analysed separately in the release tables. Tables will show participation by the line of learning and level of diploma studied by key characteristics, participation by Local Authority, and achievement of diplomas by line of learning, diploma level and some key characteristics.
