Statistics produced from the data are used to measure the following performance indicators: NI 50: Emotional health and well-being - children and young people user perception, NI 69: Percentage of children who have experienced bullying, NI 110: More participation in positive activities, NI 115: Reduce the proportion of young people frequently using illicit drugs, alcohol or volatile substances, NI 199: Satisfaction with parks and play areas.

NI 103: Special Educational Needs – statements issued within 26 weeks

This is a publication that presents national and LA level figures from the previous academic year for National Indicator 103. This indicator has two separate elements; A) The percentage of final statements of special educational needs issued within 26 weeks excluding exception cases as a proportion of all such statements issued in the year. B) The percentage of final statements of special educational needs issued within 26 weeks as a proportion of all such statements issued in the year.

NI 54: Parental experiences of services provided to disabled children

This publication sets out the main findings from the national sample survey of parents of disabled children in England. This is conducted between July and November each year on the Department's behalf by the British Market Research Bureau (BMRB). The primary purpose of the survey is to measure parental experience of services for disabled children and provide a score for the national performance indicator 5 for the Public Service Agreement on Child Health and Wellbeing (PSA 12). The secondary purpose of the survey is to provide figures for the large majority of local authorities and Primary Care Trusts (PCTs).
