PRODCOM Provisional Results

Painting Pictures of Place Series – Topic Profiles

The Painting Pictures of Place series includes Topic Profiles which help provide an understanding of a topic of interest for different places in England and Wales using the most relevant data. These profiles also serve as a signpost to help others access these official statistics. The first profile to be released provides a picture of Worklessness in England and Wales. Child poverty and Enterprise topic profiles are due to be released at a later date.
Parents' country of birth, England and Wales

Statistics on births by parents' country of birth. These statistics include births by country of birth of mother by local authority as well as total fertility rates for UK born women and non-Uk born women.
Parliamentary Constituency Population Estimates (experimental)

This product is part of the set of Small Area Population Estimates (SAPE). It includes mid-year population estimates for Westminster parliamentary constituencies in England and Wales by age and sex. Parliamentary constituency population estimates are consistent with Super Output Area (SOA), local authority, regional and national population estimates.

This longitudinal study is based on two surveys carried out by ONS among children living in private households in Great Britain. The first survey covered children aged 5 to 15 and was carried out in 1999. The second survey followed up a sample of those from the original survey in 2002.
