Summary: IMPORTANT NOTE: Changes to the frequency of some DWP statistics were announced on 15 August 2012. This edition will only include i) Monthly statistics for Early Estimates for Income Support Lone Parents and Employment and Support Allowance and incapacity benefit client group (ESA/IB) ii) Quarterly HB/CTB caseload and flows. Summary: IMPORTANT NOTE: During the quality assurance of the August 2012 National Statistics on State Benefits an issue was discovered with the allocation of benefit claimants to geographical areas. As geographical breakdowns are commonly requested by many users, the release of the statistics has been postponed whilst the issue is resolved.
