Summary: The indicators on breastfeeding and the smoking status of pregnant women at the time of delivery are being published as 2 separate releases, commencing from the publication relating to the quarter ending December 2011, released on 16 February. The information on breastfeeding initiation and the prevalence of breastfeeding at 6 to 8 weeks will continue to be published by the Department of Health. Smoking at Delivery information will be published by the Health and Social Care Information Centre.

Summary: Monitors how PCTs perform against measures in the following areas: CHD-Diabetic retinopathy; CHD-NHS Health Checks; Older people-Delayed Discharge; Health Improvement-Maternity; Health Improvement-Stroke. NB From 2011-12, this publication has replaced the previous Vital Signs Monitoring report. The coverage is similar but not identical to the Vital Signs report - the measures included are covered by the 2011-12 NHS Operating Framework.

Summary: Cancelled operations.

Summary: The total number of attendances in the week for all A&E types, including Minor Injury Units and Walk-in Centres, and of these, the number discharged, admitted or transferred within four hours of arrival. Also included are the number of admissions via A&E, and any waits of over four hours for admission following decision to admit. Data are shown at provider organisation level, from NHS Trusts, NHS Foundation Trusts, Primary Care Trusts and Independent Sector Organisations.
