Summary: This report examines the differences between the mid-year short-term international immigration estimates produced by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) for local authorities in England and Wales and the estimates of short-term residents (STRs) from the 2011 Census. Comparisons are also made for regional and country level estimates.

Summary: The total number of attendances in the week for all A&E types, including Minor Injury Units and Walk-in Centres, and of these, the number discharged, admitted or transferred within four hours of arrival. Also included are the number of admissions via A&E, and any waits of over four hours for admission following decision to admit. Data are shown at provider organisation level, from NHS Trusts, NHS Foundation Trusts, Primary Care Trusts and Independent Sector Organisations.

Summary: Statistics on the number of dwellings that have been certified to the standards set out in the Code Technical Guide, in which local authority area, at which Code level and whether the homes are registered as private or public sector. Statistics on Energy Performance Certificates are based on SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) energy efficiency ratings of dwellings in England and Wales, with breakdown by region and dwelling type.

Summary: The Services Producer Price Index (SPPI) are primarily a suite of individual price indices that provide information on price change for a limited range of service industries. Each SPPI captures quarterly changes in the price received for services provided by UK businesses to other UK businesses and Government. These individual price indices are also aggregated together to create a 'service industry' SPPI with limited coverage.

Summary: This release presents trends in estimates of mortality rates for males and females of working age in English regions and Wales, from 2001-03 to 2008-10, calculated using population denominators derived from the Labour Force Survey (LFS). The analysis is based on the seven class reduced National Statistics Socio-economic Classification (NS-SEC).

Prior to June 2010 this publication was released as part of an overall "NHSScotland Workforce Statistics" publication. This publication will be released quarterly from June 2011. From December 2011 this publication will be renamed 'NHS Scotland Workforce Statistics'.
