Summary: This quarterly report provides statistical information on the number of Armed Forces personnel who as a result of an injury sustained whilst deployed on Operations in Iraq or Afghanistan have suffered a traumatic or surgical amputation. This ranges from the loss of part of a finger or toe up to the loss of an entire limb(s). In addition, the numbers of significant multiple amputations have been provided on an annual basis.
