The publication date for this publication has changed due to a delay to the provision of the data delivery in April 2012, which would result in insufficient time to validate the data and produce the report by the publication date. In addition there are substantial structural changes to the organisation which require considerable rebuilding of the product to show the new structure.

Summary: This report provides statistical information on Armed Forces personnel returned to the UK from Iraq and Afghanistan as a result of an injury or illness that have been treated at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine (RCDM) and the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC) Headley Court.

Summary: Following a public consultation and Ministerial approval, the frequency of this publication has been reduced from fortnightly to monthly with the release date being mid-month. Therefore this edition will not be released.

Summary: This quarterly report provides statistical information on the number of Armed Forces personnel who as a result of an injury sustained whilst deployed on Operations in Iraq or Afghanistan have suffered a traumatic or surgical amputation. This ranges from the loss of part of a finger or toe up to the loss of an entire limb(s). In addition, the numbers of significant multiple amputations have been provided on an annual basis.

The annual statistics cover the implementation and operation of the Act 2000 in central government. The publication draws together the quarterly statistics for the year and analyses the longer-term trends.
