Summary: This publication provides details of the overseas trade in goods statistics (OTS) of the United Kingdom (UK) which are published as National Statistics by HM Revenue and Customs. The OTS are a detailed dataset covering the UK's trade in goods at a disaggregated country and product level. These are published separately for Non-EU and EU trade and provide access to both aggregated and detailed data for over 9,000 commodities and 250 partner countries.

Summary: Contains price indices, percentage changes and weights for the Consumer Prices Index (CPI), Retail Prices Index (RPI) and the components that make up these indices. Internationally, the CPI is known as the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP)

Summary: The UK Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) is a technique that seeks to calculate the value of tourism in a way that allows it to be compared with other economic activities, and with tourism elsewhere. The TSA is attempts to reconcile demand data from tourism surveys with information on the supply of goods and services generated by tourism related industries. It follows guidelines from the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO)

Summary: Publication of the UK Biodiversity Indicators was initially scheduled for 22 May 2012. There has been considerable slippage in the linked project plans for this indicator set and the England Biodiversity Strategy Indicator set (now renamed: Strategy for England’s Wildlife and Ecosystem Services, Biodiversity 2020 indicators: 2012 assessment’), for reasons beyond the control of the project team (JNCC, NE, Defra Biodiversity and Defra Stats). The release date has been revised to 29 May 2012.

Summary: The release includes an appendix presenting numbers and types of incidents, reported to the Food Standards Agency, that have the potential to impact on the safety of food. The release adopts a broad definition of such incidents, in terms of their character, severity and the channel via which they are reported. It acknowledges that reporting may be incomplete.

Summary: Presents statistics on the slaughter of cattle, sheep and pigs, dressed carcase weights and meat production.
