Summary: This product is part of the set of Small Area Population Estimates (SAPE). It includes estimates of the usually resident population as at 30 June of the reference year for 2011 electoral wards in England and Wales by age and sex, revised in line with the 2011 Census results. These estimates are consistent with the revised Census based Super Output Area (SOA), local authority, regional and national population estimates. Estimates are also available for other electoral ward boundaries on request.
