Statistics are provided for migration of periods between 3 and 12 months and 1 and 12 months.

Summary: This report aims to validate the mid-year short-term international immigration estimates produced by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) for local authorities in England and Wales using data on short-term residents (STRs) collected by the 2011 Census. Comparisons are also made for regional and country level estimates also produced by ONS.
