Summary: Statistics on observed and relative survival of cancer patients (25 cancers plus for all cancers combined) in Scotland, at 1, 3, 5 and 10 years, by age and sex.

The information is supplied to ISD by Practitioner Services Division (PSD) of National Services Scotland. From December 2009 this publication will be split into several distinct titles: - Prescribing Statistics - Drugs indicated in the treatment of obesity - Prescribing Statistics - Drugs used in rheumatic diseases and gout - Prescribing Statistics - Medicines used in Mental Health - Prescribing Statistics - Prescribing of smoking cessation interventions - Prescribing Statistics - Prescription Charge Analysis. The following titles will also be split from this publication at different times:- Prescribing Statistics – Dispenser Remuneration (September 2009 onwards) - Prescribing Statistics – Minor Ailments Service (March 2010 onwards) - Prescribing Statistics – Prescription Cost Analysis (September 2010 onwards).
