Summary: This brief sets out the latest statistics available on NEET in England from the DfE 16 - 18 Participation SFR, the Labour Force Survey, and regional NEET figures.

At KS2, assessments are based on tests and teacher assessments. At KS3, there are only teacher assessments as formal tests have been abolished.

Summary: This statistical release provides national figures on attainment in science of eligible pupils (typically 11 year olds) at the end of Key Stage 2 (KS2) for 2009/10 based on science sampling tests. The Key Stage 2 Science publication has been incorporated in the main Key Stage 2 publication. The combined publication will be published on Tuesday, 2 August 2011.

Summary: The number of child deaths which have been reviewed by Child Death Overview Panels (CDOPs) in the year ending 31 March, including the number which were assessed as having modifiable factors.

Summary: Statistics based on survey responses to YCS and LSYPE and brings together data about the family environment, attitudes to school, risky behaviours, engagement, attainment and post-16 participation. This publication reports on the same group of young people annually until age 19. The current group is now 19 and will be reported on in July 2011. A new study has not yet been commissioned and no publication is scheduled for 2012.
