National Statistics releases for

Presents statistics on the slaughter of cattle, sheep and pigs, dressed carcase weights and meat production.

This Statistical First Release (SFR) is based upon information collected in the School Census. It includes information on both the number of schools and pupils, and tables showing the number of pupils by age, gender, free school meal eligibility, ethnicity, first language, and gifted and talented status. It also includes a range of class size information.

Absence: The tables provide information on pupil residency-based pupil absence broken down by gender. Attainment:The tables provide information on pupil residency-based small area pupil attainment (Early Years Foundation Stage Profile and Key Stages 1, 2, 4 and 5) broken down by gender, free school meal eligibility (Key Stages 2 and 4 only) and ethnicity (Key Stages 2 and 4 only).

The purpose of this statistical release is to provide analysis in relation to teacher numbers, teacher vacancies and pupil: teacher ratios in grant-aided schools. This information is analysed by Education and Library Board, school type and teacher characteristics. Additional data on teacher sickness absence (excluding voluntary grammars) and teacher substitution (excluding voluntary grammars) is also included in this statistical release.

Council tax collection rates by council area and time series.

Statistics on budgeted expenditure on Special Educational Needs (SEN) Provision include data for Wales as reported by Welsh Local Education Authorities.

Contains a first estimate of retail sales in volume and value terms, seasonally and non-seasonally adjusted

Information on Consultant-led Referral to Treatment (RtT) waiting times, monitoring length of time from referral through to elective treatment.
