We tested the sensitivity of the value of voluntary activity to:

• using median hours - this decreases the value by 48 per cent in 2000;
• using mean wage rates - this decerease the value by 8 per cent in 2000;
• using the National Minimum Wage - this decreases the value by 57 per cent in 2000.
