NHS Organisation Manual

The NHS Organisation Manual has been replaced by the Ward:Health Matrix.

The NHS Organisation Manual is an annual electronic publication relating all UK health authorities/boards to their respective local authorities. Where local authorities are split by health boundaries the constitution goes down to electoral ward level. The manual also provides area codes, including (for England only) those of the relevant Government Office Region.

The publication supports the coding framework used in ONS Geography's NHS postcode directories and is supplied to the NHS and other health-related organisations, as well as customers in many different work areas of ONS.
