The Office for National Statistics has produced a look-up file showing the relationship between current postcodes in England and Wales and the new Westminster parliamentary constituencies that received Royal Assent in June and which will be operative at the date of the next general election. The look-up file also includes current postcodes in the other UK countries (but not Channel Islands or Isle of Man) and their links to Westminster parliamentary constituencies. The Westminster parliamentary constituencies in Scotland are already included on the quarterly National Statistics Postcode Directories (NSPD), because they were operative before the last general election, and the Westminster parliamentary constituencies for the other UK countries will be included on the first NSPD release after the next general election. The NSPD is updated every February, May, August and November.
It is possible that some Westminster parliamentary constituency boundaries may be subject to review prior to the next election (due to reviews to the underlying electoral ward boundaries). An updated version of the look-up file will be made available if there are any changes to the boundaries.
