Counts for ‘Outflow: Moved out of the area but within associated area’ are missing for counties in both SuperTABLE and CSV CDs. These missing counts affect the calculation of ‘Net migration’ for counties.

NOTE: The amended Net migration counts initially available through the link above were themselves affected by an error in the data extraction routine. The figures have now been corrected, and those areas affected are indicated in the amended file. Files supplied by Census Customer Services are unaffected by this error.

Comments

Table T15 Theme table on Welsh language
Details
The layout of this table has several inconsistencies with that released for local authorities. Under Accommodation Type, the subtotal row relating to Communal Establishment is missing. Under Living Arrangements, rows labelled 'Divorced' and 'Widowed' appear in the wrong order, and the row labelled 'Lone parent family' should appear as the first row under Family Type. Finally, under Economic Activity, the row labelled 'Retired' should appear as the first row under Economically inactive.
Inflow counts were incorrect for counties and Unitary Authorities in the SuperTABLE and CSV versions of this CD (the previously reported error in migration counts for Wales as a whole does not affect this table).
Counts by Economic Activity of Household Reference Person (Female) for "Wholly moving households: Outflow: Moved outside the 'associated area' but within the UK" are incorrect for England and Wales as a whole in both SuperTABLE and CSV CDs. Corresponding counts by NS-SeC of Household Reference Person (both Male and Female) are incorrect for local authorities and higher areas in both SuperTABLE and CSV CDs.
Comments
Counts for wards are correct. Corrected tables for higher geographies are available from Census Customer Services.
