The Output Production project was responsible for the creation of statistical products from the 2001 Census, which are delivered in print and electronic form. Prior to the Census, the Output Production project was involved in the CensusAtSchool initiative in October 2000, which was part of the publicity campaign to raise awareness of the forthcoming Census. It involved 358 schools and 54,000 young people and was the first Children's Census, with a short anonymous questionnaire containing questions ranging from favourite subjects at school and recycling, to the ownership of mobile phones. The Output Production project also manages the 2001 Census Webpages.
