The quality of the information provided by the census is of paramount importance. The Data Quality project was responsible for monitoring the quality of the information through all stages of the census operation. Checks were carried out against other comparable information and problems referred for resolution. The project was also responsible for putting in place procedures which ensured the maintenance of confidentiality.
