After the census forms were processed, the information was subjected to additional procedures (e.g. Data Quality, Edit and Imputation, Disclosure and Process Control and One Number Census) to ensure quality and consistency. The Downstream Processing project maintained and supported the IS systems for these processes, ensuring coherence and quality assurance of all technical interfaces. The project was also responsible for developing and implementing systems for SARs (Sample of Anonymised Records) and for the Census Non-Response Survey.
