Maps that support the results of the 2001 Census are available online from the Neighbourhood Statistics website and the Nomis website. A supplementary service is also available to provide electronic and printed maps on request. These maps cover larger areas, at a greater detail than can be displayed on screen by the web services. They can be delivered as PDFs via email or in print through a postal service. Maps will generally be designed to be capable of being printed at A3 size. The following geography combinations are catered for by the service:

• Local Authority District/Unitary Authority and 2003 ward;
• 2003 ward and Output Area;
• Super Output Area (Middle or Lower layer) and Output Area.
