The report Key Statistics for wards in England and Wales contains data for England and Wales, England, Wales, and all Government Office Regions, counties, Unitary Authorities, local authorities and CAS wards in England and Wales.

The CD report is an extension of the Key Statistics for local authorities in England and Wales. It was laid before Parliament, and includes versions of the tables as both counts and percentages in SuperTABLE format.

The Key Statistics tables
The Key Statistics dataset consists of a series of 33 tables which provide a summary of the complete results of the Census. They are designed to enable easy comparison between areas across the full range of Census variables.

	Online Key Statistics tables available as both counts and percentages, with ward level summary profiles, free through the Neighbourhood Statistics Service (NeSS) website.
	Electronic CD [price £25 ISBN 0116216638] containing data as both counts and percentages in SuperTABLE format. SuperTABLE and CSV versions of the ward level tables, with data as counts only, are also available on DVD as part of the Key Statistics for Output Areas in England and Wales, on request free from Census Customer Services using the ordering information box to the top right of this page.

Product notes
Table 'KS01 Usual resident population' does not include 1991 population figures, which were not available when the tables were produced.

Table 'KS24 Migration', and 'Average distanced travelled' data from table 'KS15 Travel to Work', were not available at the time this product was released on CD. Complete versions of these tables are included on the Supplementary files and corrections CDs, available separately in SuperTABLE and CSV format on request free from Census Customer Services using the ordering information box to the top right of this page.
