Key Statistics for revised Parliamentary Constituencies
The Key Statistics for revised Parliamentary Constituencies provides information for revised constituency boundaries and supplements data available in the previous release Report for Parliamentary Constituencies. The release contains data for constituencies in England as defined in the Boundary Commission for England's Fifth Report which was laid before Parliament in February 2007, and for Westminster Parliament and National Assembly for Wales constituencies in Wales as defined in the Fifth Periodical Report on Parliamentary Constituencies and First Report on The National Assembly for Wales Electoral Regions made by the Boundary Commission for Wales in December 2005.
The information in the Key Statistics tables provide valuable input to the Parliamentary process and allows for ready comparison between constituencies or with Census results for other types of areas such as wards, local authorities or health areas.
The results are available online through the Neighbourhood Statistics Service (NeSS) website.

Product notes
These tables were produced by summing data for smaller areas that were released as part of the main 2001 Census output. Certain counts in the tables for smaller areas had minor adjustments made to them in order to protect confidentiality (using a process called small cell adjustment). Although the summation of adjusted cells has been kept to a minimum, some values in comparable tables may differ.
For technical reasons Table 'KS24 Migration', and 'Average distanced travelled' data from table 'KS15 Travel to Work', are not included in this release.
