Census Area Statistics for wards and Output Areas in England and Wales

The Census Area Statistics for wards and Output Areas in England and Wales contains data for England and Wales, England, and Wales as a whole, and all Government Office Regions, counties, Unitary Authorities, local authorities, wards, and Output Areas in England and Wales.

Versions on DVD are available in two parts - a larger first part available region by region, and a supplementary part containing additional information for areas throughout England and Wales. Both parts must be ordered to obtain the complete set of CAS for any area. [more details]

Major subsets of the CAS tables contained in the DVD release are also available online, either through the Neighbourhood Statistics Service (NeSS) website or via the Nomis website.

The Census Area Statistics tables
The Census Area Statistics (CAS) tables provide the most local detailed results from the Census, often adding more detail to that provided in Key Statistics and Standard Tables, and in particular providing information on areas not covered in Census reports.

	Online The Univariate set of the CAS tables are available free through the Neighbourhood Statistics Service (NeSS) website. The main CAS tables are available for download free from the Nomis website.
