As a supplement to the Census roadshow meetings held earlier in Autumn 2001, three meetings were arranged to enable a more detailed consideration of developments in output geography, and the products and services to be delivered.
These meetings provided users with the opportunity to learn more, and to contribute to discussion, about the methodologies and issues involved in creating Output Areas, the supply of products and services, and plans for the future.
The roadshow covered:
The new output geography
Application to Neighbourhood Statistics
Dealing with postcode and co-ordinate references
Output Areas
Output for changed and overlapping geographies
Census geography products and applications
Extending the use of automatic zoning
