Fifty one of the 'univariate' tables from the Census Areas Statistics (CAS) first released in August/September 2003 are now available through Neighbourhood Statistics.

Each 'univariate' table gives counts in quite detailed categories for a single topic or variable. They do not cross reference to other topics in two way tables. An example is the age table which counts the population by single year of age from 1 to 74 and in five year groups from 75 upwards. They cover a full range of Census topics with the exception of 14 tables [more details...], mainly about the workplace population, which would be added later.

The CAS 'univariate' tables 'topics' option on the Neighbourhood Statistics home page by opening '2001 Census' and then 'Census Area Statistics'.
