The large backlog of requests for commissioned Census data that built up in 2004 and 2005 has now been cleared. In meeting these requests ONS has produced a comprehensive set of additional tables that supplement the main output from the Census and are available to all. New commissions are welcome. Turn around times for an average request will now be in the order of one month. The length of time between receipt of the table request and delivery will be dependent on:

1. the size and complexity of the request and
2. the priority we have assigned to it in the event of a large number of requests being received simultaneously.

A straight-forward request currently takes around two weeks to complete, larger or more complex requests may take longer.
