The Key Statistics for 2004 wards, available from 8th December 2004, supplements the Key Statistics for wards report that was published in June 2003. This earlier report provided results for wards with boundaries legally in force in 2002. Wards with boundaries operative in a number of local authorities in May 2003, and in some others, in May 2004, were also included.

Key Statistics for 2004 wards provides results for all wards with boundary changes made by Statutory Instruments during 2003, and which were therefore not included in the Key Statistics for wards publication. A list of the changed wards is available HERE as an Excel file.

In addition, similar results are provided separately for a small number of unchanged wards in Milton Keynes, Monmouthshire, and North Norfolk where the original constitutions were not based on the final correct ward boundaries.
