The second part of the Census Area Statistics for health areas in England and Wales was released on 15 July 2004. It includes tables on workplace populations and migration, which were not available for the main release in December 2003, for Strategic Health Authorities, Primary Care Trusts and Local Health Boards throughout England and Wales. The content of this release is similar to part 2 of the Census Area Statistics for Output Areas as described HERE. This release completes the publication of results for health areas.

A CD containing the tables in either SuperTABLE or CSV format is available, usually free of charge, from Census Customer Services. Recipients of the first part of the Census Area Statistics for health areas will be sent the second part as standard. Similar discs containing the results for part 1 are also available from Census Customer Services. Figures in the Census Area Statistics for some PCTs may differ from results in the Standard Tables. This reflects differences in the area boundaries used when producing results. More information on this is available HERE.
