Census News featured information about the preparation, planning, conduct and results from the 2001 Census. Initially a paper publication, the production and release of Census News was revised in March 2002 to make it primarily a web based publication and news update service. 6,000 readers took advantage of this service. An archive of the web based news items, in addition to the old style paper based Census News publications provided as PDF files is available.
