Annual Population Survey Household datasets
New annual local area datasets provide family and household labour market statistics at local areas and for small sub-groups of the population of the UK.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) have developed new local area datasets called the Annual Population Survey (APS) household datasets. They allow production of family and household labour market statistics at local areas and for small sub-groups of the population across the UK.
The aim of the article is to raise awareness of the APS household datasets. The information is presented in two sections, the initial section describes the key features of the APS household datasets, while the second section presents some key results from the data to illustrate the type of analysis that can be produced.
